The Stuttgart German Masters media team has been awarded the inaugural Best Press Office award for its outstanding contribution to the Rolex FEI World Cupââ??¢ Western European League 2010/2011.
Over 200 journalists and photographers covering the 12 Western European League qualifiers of the Rolex FEI World Cupââ??¢ 2010/2011 season cast their votes for the press office that has demonstrated exemplary communication skills, high quality on-site and online media services and ability to supply information swiftly.
The Best Press Office award was introduced at the start of the Rolex FEI World Cupââ??¢ 2010/2011 season to celebrate the hard work of the event organising teams.
JÃ?¶rg Klopfer, press officer of the Stuttgart German Masters team, was presented with the award at a Rolex Media Reception in the Leipzig Press Club during the FEI World Cupââ??¢ Finals in Leipzig (GER). JÃ?¶rg Klopfer is a former journalist and a previous award winner for services to the press. He was press chief at the 1993 IAAF World Athletics Championships in Stuttgart, which was covered by over 3,000 journalists and the Stuttgart team won the Association Internationale de la Presse Sportive (AIPS) award for best press centre.
Jean-NoÃ?«l Bioul, Head of International Sponsorship at Rolex commented, “On behalf of Rolex and our Equestrian team, I congratulate the German Stuttgart Masters press office for their great efforts in growing the popularity of this sport which we all love. We enjoy working with all the press teams on the Rolex FEI World Cup Western League, and thank them for their continued dedication and professionalism, now and in the future.”
“The Stuttgart German Masters press office has worked with the passion and dedication that is synonymous with the Rolex FEI World Cupââ??¢ series,” said FEI Director of Press Relations, Grania Willis.
“Press offices have a vital role to play and are fundamental to the success of our events. True to form, all of the press offices supporting us during the 2010/2011 season have received extremely positive feedback from journalists and photographers, but it was Stuttgart that came out as the clear winner.”

The accreditation process for the Pan American Games will be held through the Olympic Committee of each country. However, we are looking to get a special accreditation only for the equestrian venues for those interested in our sport and who are not able to get the general sport accreditation from the O.C. of the Pan American Games. We need to know how many journalists and photographers are interested in this process, so we can ask the O.C. To provide or allow us to provide special access to the equestrian facility. Special accreditation will be limited to the three equestrian disciplines: Dressage 16 to 19 October Eventing 21 to 23 October Jumping 25 to 29 October All those interested must send their application form (located at this link) before April 11. We will then confirm if this is possible. IAEJ members interested should advise us promptly and return their applications to: etame@fem.org.mx Eduardo Tame
