This year’s General Assembly for IAEJ will be held during the FEI World Championships Aachen 2026, as this is the pinnacle of the championships held this year.
Once again the organisation of CHIO Aachen has given us the possibility to make use of their facilities in a very busy program for everyone on site.
Mark the date 18th of August when we gather in the conference room in Aachen next to the press room and reception desk. At 9, the online Zoom meeting will open, and the GA will begin.
Important General Assembly
This year, it is time to choose the board members, but we also need to vote on a number of new administrative actions. The nomination for board members will close a month earlier, on the 18th of July, in order to make presentations available for members and carry out online voting in due time with the GA.
All suggestions for changes, new tasks, or subjects you, as members wants to discuss during our GA can also be sent in at the same time.
Tricky timing for a global association
We will start at 8:30 with coffee and doing the list of participants on site, the actual General Assembly will then start at 9, and it will be open to participants via Zoom as per usual.
We are aware of the difficult time for our North American members, but we simply have to adjust to when the conference room is available, and this is the date we think will be most appropriate in terms of the program on site => which is why we are there.
