The International Alliance of Equestrian Journalist presented U.S. Show Jumping Team Chef d’Equipe George Morris with the its inaugural Bureau Award for Services to the Media at a reception in Greenwich, London on Thursday August 2. The award honors those in the industry who are consistently co-operative, approachable and helpful to the media. “Many of us have known George for more years than we would care to confess.” said IAEJ president Pamela Young, “and throughout that time he has always made himself available for comment and has always been happy to provide insight on the record. We are most grateful to him for aiding us in our work throughout his career and especially for the past eight years as U.S. chef d’equipe.
