Sandi Hall Henning was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. She has been involved with horses for over 35 years as a rider and owner, as well as photographer. Besides shoots for private clients, her photos and articles have appeared in calendars, plus a variety of magazines and media outlets. As a horse show photographer and freelance journalist, she has traveled across Ontario as well as west to Alberta, covering The Masters at Spruce Meadows on a number of occasions. She has also worked the Badminton Horse Trials, the Balmoral Horse Show, the Horse of the Year Show and Royal Windsor. In the off-season in Ontario, her focus turns to hockey, working as the official photographer as well as manager of publicity and promotions for 3 teams. This work has included accompanying teams across Canada, as well as to Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Austria.
